Trump Releases Sneaker Brand

Former President Donald Trump announced last week that he was launching a brand of sneakers just days after a judgment in a New York court compelled him to pay more than $350 million in legal damages. The former president’s decision came after a number of other successful branding efforts during his long career.

The former president made the surprise announcement during the Sneaker Con convention in Philadelphia this weekend. Trump said that he wanted to launch a sneaker brand “for a long time.”

“I have some incredible people that work with me on things and they came up with this … and I think it’s gonna be a big success,” he said.

The former president made the comments as he promised to “turn this country around fast. We’re going to turn it around.” He then added that his team would “remember the young people, and we’re going to remember Sneaker Con.”

The shoes were branded as Trump Sneakers in three different types. One is a pair of high-top tennis shoes. Another is red laceless athletic shoes. The last is a pair of white laceless athletic shoes.

All of the shoes have the letter “T” on them. One of the brands reads “Never Surrender High Top Sneaker” and is priced at $399. The other shoes have the number 45 to represent Trump’s role as the 45th president of the United States and are priced at $199.

“The Never Surrender sneakers are your rally cry in shoe form,” the site selling the shoes read. “Lace-up and step out ready to conquer,.”

The former president is also selling perfume and cologne on his website for $99.

During the appearance, Trump was greeted by both skeptics and supporters chanting “U.S.A.!” This included people in the crowd wearing clothing supporting the former president, including a person holding a sign that read “SNEAKERHEADS LOVE TRUMP.”

Trump introduced a number of successful trading cards, including some that sold out almost immediately after being released. The trading cards were so successful that the former president announced a second run.
