Hunter Biden Claims Republicans ‘Trying To Kill Him’

Hunter Biden said this week in an interview that Republicans were trying to “kill” him. The interview included a number of expletives and comes less than a day after the president’s son was indicted on nine federal tax charges.

The younger Biden made the comments during a podcast with the musician Moby, which was published Friday. Among the topics of conversation were Hunter Biden’s struggles, as he wrote about in his recent memoir.

“That’s the one thing — one of the reasons why I’m going to survive this — and I’m going to survive it clean and sober — is because I am not going to let these motherf***ers use me as just another example of why people in recovery are never going to be okay, never to be trusted, they’re all degenerates,” the president’s son said of critics. “I’m just not going to let that happen. I’m just not going to let it happen.”

He further criticized Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) by name, saying that they “are in anguish” and “not healthy people.”

Hunter Biden said that the efforts regarding him are ultimately aimed at his father, President Joe Biden, and “not about me.”

“They are trying to destroy a presidency. And so, it’s not about me. In their most base way, what they’re trying to do is they’re trying to kill me, knowing that it will be a pain greater than my father could be able to handle,” Hunter Biden said. “And so, therefore, destroying a presidency in that way.”

Special counsel David Weiss announced nine new charges against the president’s son just months after indicting him on federal firearms charges. Included in the new allegations are three felony and six misdemeanor charges.

The president’s son was accused of not paying taxes in at least four tax years. Weiss’ indictment accused Hunter Biden of a “four-year scheme to not pay at least $1.4 million in self-assessed federal taxes.”

The document also alleges that Biden “subverted the payroll and tax withholding process of his own company” and “spent millions of dollars on an extravagant lifestryle rather than paying his tax bills.”
