Former White House Doctor Says Biden ‘Unwell’

Former White House physician Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) said this week that President Joe Biden is “unwell.” The comments came as the American public has shown increasing concern over the president’s age and health.

Jackson was asked in an interview about the president’s age, referring to his role as a doctor. The former White House doctor said that you “don’t have to be a physician anymore” to see Biden’s poor health, in his opinion.

“There’s not little subtle clues, you know, that I’m picking up as a physician and somebody who was at the White House for 14 years and worked for three different presidents, and I’m picking up on some, you know, little issue that nobody else can see,” he said, emphasizing that “everyone knows what this is.” said Jackson.

Jackson further said that people may have a “relative that’s gone through this, and everyone you talk to is like, I know exactly what that is. I had an aunt and uncle, a grandparent that went through this process.”

“You know, that’s Alzheimer’s. That’s dementia of some sort. That’s Parkinson’s, that’s multi-infarct dementia,” he said.

The comments came after a series of events that some Republicans said show Biden’s lack of mental or physical health. Last year the president fell during the graduation ceremony of the U.S. Air Force Academy. He also stumbled on the stairs to Air Force One several times.

Jackson’s statements also came after the Wall Street Journal reported that some officials are concerned about the president’s age.

A series of polls in the last several years showed that a large majority of the American people are concerned that Biden is not healthy enough to serve a second term. At 81 years old, Biden is the oldest-serving American president in history.

Biden would be 86 years old at the end of his term.

Former President Donald Trump celebrated his 78th birthday on Friday. A series of Republican members of the House of Representatives sang him happy birthday during an event this week.
