Carlson Describes Biden As ‘Wannabe Dictator’

Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson sharply criticized President Joe Biden during the latest episode of his new Twitter show. The popular host argued that the indictment of former President Donald Trump was a political punishment and described Biden as a “wannabe dictator.”

During Carlson’s fourth episode of “Tucker on Twitter,” the news personality also criticized his former network.

Fox News reportedly fired an employee that described Biden as a “wannabe dictator” in a news chyron. The network said that the headline was “taken down immediately and was addressed.”

Carlson asked why, if the banner was false, there was “hysteria.”

“Lies don’t seem to bother anyone anymore. If some cable news producer had called Joe Biden a genius or accused him of being secretly Sudanese, would anyone be yelling about it?”

“Would Fox News have apologized for it? Probably not,” he said.

“But calling Joe Biden a wannabe dictator, that stung,” said Carlson. “So you’ve got to wonder, if you’re being honest with yourself, is Joe Biden a wannabe dictator?”

The anchor shared a clip of White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stating that “of course” Biden is not a dictator.

Carlson imitated the press secretary, adding that Biden wouldn’t be considered a dictator “trying to put the other candidate in prison for the rest of his life for a crime he himself committed.”

The host mockingly described the Department of Justice’s indictment of the former president as not describing a “totalitarian impulse.”

Carlson also leveled criticism at what he described as the “consensus in Washington tonight” surrounding the charges against Trump.

The former Fox News host said that many in Washington were making money from connections to the government, while Americans are “literally living in tents on the street.”

He then criticized the tendency of dictators to “build cults of personality around themselves and they use those cults to deny the glaringly obvious.”

The former host criticized what he described as mainstream media efforts to defend Biden, comparing such reporting as similar to North Korean media.

Biden also criticized Biden’s son Hunter Biden and mockingly said that the president “doesn’t award ridiculous, inflated titles to his relatives that the media are then required to take seriously,” citing First Lady Jill Biden’s use of the term ‘doctor.’
