Border Mayor Warns Of Terrorist Attack

The mayor of a community near the U.S.-Mexico border warned of a potential terrorist attack similar to the one that killed 1,200 people in Israel last Oct. 7. The warning also echoes those of a number of officials, including Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.

El Cajon, California Mayor Bill Wells (R) said that it was not “out of the question to believe that a Hamas-style attack that happened Oct. 7 could happen to us. That another 9/11-style attack or something we’ve never even seen before could happen.”

“I’m not trying to scaremonger, but I think you’d have to be foolish not to believe that,” the mayor said.

Wells is currently running for Congress.

The mayor’s comments came after Border Patrol Chief Jason Owens said that not knowing the full scale of migrants crossing the border represented a “national security threat.”

The warning came just weeks after a mob of migrants broke through a border barrier and attacked several members of the Texas National Guard.

There has also been a significant number of crimes committed by the influx of illegal aliens. Since President Joe Biden took office in 2021, more than seven million illegal aliens are believed to have entered the country.

Greene cited a recent Newsmax report regarding the possibility of a terrorist attack.

“OF COURSE A TERRORIST ATTACK IS IMMINENT BECAUSE THEY KEEP THE BORDER WIDE OPEN AND MILLIONS HAVE INVADED!” she wrote.

She cited FBI warnings of a terrorist attack and cited the reauthorization of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).

She said that the FBI was highlighting the threat of such an attack, arguing that the act was utilized by the FBI to “unconstitutionally…spy on hundreds of millions of Americans.”

“If they really cared about terrorism in America they would SHUT THE BORDER AND MASS DEPORT,” she wrote. “But they don’t. They care about controlling YOU.”

“My eyes are wide open,” wrote Greene. “None of the stupid tricks fool me anymore.”

Last year she sought to have Antifa listed as a terrorist organization.
