In a lighthearted marketing move, Cheryl Hines, the wife of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., shared a video on Instagram featuring her husband showering while she promoted her line of “Make America Healthy Again” (MAHA) products. The video, posted on Friday afternoon, showcases Hines promoting her company’s candles, body sprays, and creams, with Kennedy partially visible behind her in the shower.
Hines playfully chides Kennedy in the clip, exclaiming, “No! You can’t take a shower, I’m doing a video!” The video serves to advertise a Black Friday sale offering a 60% discount on the candles. Kennedy himself remains silent throughout the footage.

This promotional tactic comes after Kennedy had previously disclosed that Hines, a lifelong Democrat, was initially uncomfortable with his endorsement of President-elect Donald Trump during the recent election campaign. Kennedy acknowledged that his decision to support Trump went against Hines’ wishes, stating, “This is the opposite of what she would want to do. She went along with it because she loves me and she wanted to be supportive of me, but it was not something that she ever encouraged, I would say.”
Kennedy further elaborated on Hines’ reservations, saying, “Her trepidation about this and discomfort with this… were the dominant feelings. She’s a lifelong Democrat, and the idea of me supporting Donald Trump as president was just… something that she would have never imagined, that she never wanted in her life.”
Prior to Trump selecting J.D. Vance as his running mate, Kennedy had been asked if he would accept the position if offered. His response at the time was, “I don’t think that my marriage would survive it.”
Notably, Kennedy has been nominated by Trump to lead the Department of Health and Human Services in the upcoming administration.
