White House Dodges Questions On Biden’s Continued Masking

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stuttered when responding to a reporter’s question as to why Joe Biden is still being spotted wearing a face mask.

“Well — that’s a — I don’t know. I did not notice that, that he — we all wore our masks on Marine One,” Jean-Pierre said Wednesday when asked why Biden had his mouth covered while deplaning Marine One.

“So can you tell us — was he exposed to someone? Or can you talk about that?” she was asked.

Jean-Pierre dodged the question, responding that Biden tested negative on an antigen test.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention notably still advocates for all people aged 2 and older to cover their mouths when traveling by air or public transportation.

“When people properly wear a high-quality mask or respirator, they protect themselves and those around them, and help keep travel and public transportation safer for everyone,” the agency writes.

The masking on the plane incident follows Biden wearing the face mask at a children’s hospital just before Christmas.

He reportedly pulled down his mask in order to speak during the event and also told a young girl, “You are so cute, little tike. She’s workin’ it.”

Biden’s masking displays come at a time when school districts in New Jersey have decided they will bring back forced masking for children. One superintendent justified the compulsory policy by suggesting it is the only way faculty can continue doing their job of teaching children in the classroom.

The White House occupant infamously violated CDC guidelines in August after he did not wear a mask following a positive test for the Chinese coronavirus.

Breitbart News reported:

“CDC guidance suggests that he wear a mask when he’s around others,” Ashish Jha, the White House Covid response coordinator said July 25. “The president is going to follow CDC guidance.”

But Joe Biden went on national television Monday evening without a mask after testing positive Saturday. On Tuesday afternoon, Biden again tested positive with “a return of a loose cough,” the White House said.
