Former President Donald Trump said that the decision of special counsel Robert Hur to not charge President Joe Biden related to his alleged mishandling of classified documents was an example of a “two-tiered system of justice.” The former president sought to have the charges against him for his own alleged handling of documents dropped.
“We have a sick and corrupt, two-tiered system of justice in our country,” Trump said during a speech to the National Rifle Association in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. “Do I know better than anybody.”
During Trump’s speech at the Great American Outdoor Show Saturday that “Joe Biden’s department of injustice will bring zero charges against crooked Joe, despite the fact that he willfully retained, willfully retained and disclosed drawers of ultra classified national security documents.”
The former president previously wrote on social media that special counsel Jack Smith should drop charges against him.
He wrote on social media that if Smith “wants to do good for our Country, and help to unify it, he should drop all Litigation against Joe Biden’s Political Opponent, ME, and let our Country HEAL.”
Trump said that such an action would be “a far bigger and better achievement than anything he has ever done, and will be easy for the Great Patriots of our Country to understand in light of Special Counsel Robert Hur’s Document Report on Joe Biden, where the evidence is overwhelming that he “willfully retained” important documents!”

Hur’s report appeared to indicate that Biden’s memory was seriously slipping. The special counsel decided not to charge the president, in part because he believed that in a potential trial, “Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”
Biden denied allegations that he forgot crucial moments in his life, including when his son Beau Biden died and when he was vice president.
The president gave a press conference Thursday stating that he had no such memory issues and that he was the best person to lead the country. However, at the same event the president confused the nations of Mexico and Egypt.
