President-Elect Donald Trump has expressed his condemnation of the fatal attack that occurred on New Year’s Day in New Orleans, labeling it as an “act of pure evil.” In a statement shared on Truth Social, Trump conveyed his support for the city and its residents, including the courageous officers of the New Orleans Police Department, who were impacted by this heinous act. “Our hearts go out to all the innocent victims, their loved ones, and the brave officers of the New Orleans Police Department. The Trump Administration will provide its full backing to the City of New Orleans as they investigate and recover from this deplorable act of pure evil!” he declared.

Trump further suggested that the perpetrator of the attack might have originated from outside the country. “When I stated that the criminals entering our nation are far worse than the criminals already residing within, that assertion was consistently refuted by Democrats and the Fake News Media, but it has proven to be true. The crime rate in our country has reached unprecedented levels that no one has ever witnessed before,” he remarked.

According to reports from Fox News, the truck utilized in the attack, bearing a Texas license plate, was tracked crossing the southern border into the U.S. at Eagle Pass, Texas, two days before the incident took place.
