The Covid-19 vaccine mandate may be over before it begins. Afterward, got out of the implementation and planned to get OSHA to push forward the vaccine mandate, and many Americans weren’t pleased about that. OSHA hasn’t even implemented the orders, and the 5th Circuit Federal Court of Appeals put a stay on the mandate and then reaffirmed the visit.
You may have noticed many new OSHA ads on the Youtube platform before your favorite cat video starts, and this is a public perception ploy. They targeted the most severe accident of them all, the forklift accident. Why? Because it’s more common than others, they described how OSHA creates safety standards that keep people safe. It’s a win-win for OSHA and the Democrats if you buy into it. Most people are cautious on forklifts anyway because they value their lives and body parts and don’t want to lose them.
According to the court, OSHA “was not and likely could not have been, under the Commerce Clause and nondelegation doctrine, intended to authorize a workplace safety administration in the deep recesses of the federal bureaucracy to make sweeping pronouncements on matters of public health affecting every member of society in the most profound of ways.”
It’s ridiculous and not meant actually to save lives. The original mandate is probably a way to see where compliance and legality of the mandate will ride out. If it passes, Democrats are happy. If it fails, they’ll try again.
It’s a game of compliance and has been from the very beginning.
The court also noted that what President Joe Biden did to “bypass typical notice-and-comment proceedings for six months by providing ‘for temporary emergency’ standard to take immediate effect upon publication in the Federal Register” isn’t for the benefit of the people and that “temporary emergency standards” aren’t at the leisure of the government, but used in cases of an actual emergency. The ETS should be used for “an ‘unusual response’ to ‘exceptional circumstances.’”
Also, the court noted that having this ability and power to use the ETS, the “mandate at issue here is anything but a ‘delicate exercise’ of this ‘extraordinary power.’”
The federal government is taking advantage of the situation and trying to control workers even more than they already were.
Everything noted by the court is all reasons why a socialized economy isn’t good for the people. The means of production and the benefit after that should be left in the hands of the people and not the government.
The mandate isn’t going to stick. There’s no way that it will pass the litmus test of legality and constitutionality. By the way, all of the Covid-19 vaccines are still under emergency use authorization and not fully approved by the FDA.
