Romney Calls “Treason” as Alarm Sounded on U.S. Biological Labs

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT), who dodged the Vietnam War draft, called Tulsi Gabbard, a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve, a “treasonous liar.” But he’s the one who is twisting the truth.

The left has led a disastrous administration across the board, causing pain on the federal, state and local levels. The left will not be on the right side of history when all of this is said and done, and that includes some right leaning Democrats, like Mitt Romney.

Romney was a placeholder Republican in the 2012 Republican presidential primary. Romney wasn’t an exciting candidate and shouldn’t have been the Republican candidate for president, but here we are. President Joe Biden shared many of the same traits in 2020: not exciting and taking every opportunity to fail as voters saw the weakness, corruption and ill will that Biden had toward the United States and the American people.

Both Biden and Romney purport to care about democracy. But what democracy do they care about? Apparently, their own.

Romney wants what every elite politician wants: to make sure he can continue to profit off of his position. That’s the game. The end result is more money out of your pocket and into his.

Romney said that Gabbard was a “treasonous liar” because she dared point out that there are biolabs in Ukraine that the U.S. has funded and that the labs could have very negative effects on the entire world if they get into the wrong hands.

Gabbard responded, stating, “I have said that there are biolabs in Ukraine that have received U.S. support that contain dangerous pathogens and that if those labs are breached, then the world is facing a potential future of pandemics, that this is a dangerous crisis that needs to be addressed immediately, these pathogens need to be destroyed.”

Gabbard reiterated on Twitter that her statement wasn’t about “biological weapons labs or biological weapons in Ukraine,” but about the “existence of the 25+ biological labs in that warzone.”

There’s not a great debate that the left can have about “disinformation” when Victoria Nuland, Undersecretary of State, admitted it.

Nuland was asked directly if there were biological weapons in Ukraine, and responded, “Ukraine has biological research facilities which, in fact, we’re now quite concerned Russian troops, Russian forces may be seeking to gain control of.” This tells you everything you need to know about Romney’s attack.

Gabbard has been an outspoken voice in politics for some time, and she’s recently become more vocal because of how terrible the Democrats are doing at governing.

Gabbard said, “There are 25-30 U.S.-funded biolabs in Ukraine. According to the U.S. government, these biolabs are conducting research on dangerous pathogens. Ukraine is in an active war zone with widespread bombing, artillery, and shelling.”

So, what’s wrong with Gabbard saying that? It seems like it would be the most pressing issue of the conflict right now for Americans still suffering the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic that many experts suggest began in a biolab.

Romney responded by saying, “Tulsi gabbard is parroting false Russian propaganda. Her treasonous lies may well cost lives.”

But whose lives? If the biolabs story is true, and there’s compelling evidence to suggest it is, the lives lost could very well result from the very thing that Romney calls a “lie.”
