Political strategist Roger Stone conveyed to Breitbart News that the Republican Party has undergone a profound transformation due to the “historic watershed election” of former President Donald Trump.
“This is a historic watershed election,” Stone articulated to Breitbart News, referring to the 2024 political realignment at Turning Point USA’s annual AmericaFest conference held last week in Phoenix, Arizona.

“This is akin to the realignment of 1932 or the realignment of 1968, wherein those who advocate for perpetual foreign conflicts, those who endorse censorship, and those who believe that Big Pharma and Big Food should be permitted to operate unrestrained as long as they remain profitable, all gravitated towards Kamala Harris,” Stone elaborated.
Stone specifically singled out, “I’m referring to Republicans like Dick Cheney, a war criminal who deliberately misled the nation into war by falsely claiming that Iraq possessed nuclear weapons, despite knowing they did not.”
“His daughter, who has been complicit in perjury, and yes, should be prosecuted for her unlawful actions in the January 6 committee,” Stone added. “The McCains and all the warmongerers are gravitating towards Kamala Harris.”
On the other hand, Stone stated that “common sense Democrats, Independents, Libertarians, free thinkers,” and “individuals who admire Robert Kennedy, Tulsi Gabbard, Governor Rod Blagojevich,” “gravitated towards the new working-class Party — the America First Party of Donald Trump.”
“This is a historic realignment, and I believe it will shape our politics for decades to come,” Stone asserted.
When asked if the “old guard” Republicans are now obsolete, Stone responded, “The Republican Party is completely remade.”
“We were once the Party of war, big business, Wall Street, the financial elite, the country club — that Party is over,” Stone declared. “We are now the Party of the working class, we’re the Party of middle America.”

“We’re the party of low taxes,” Stone added. “We’re the party of border security, we’re the party of law and order, we’re the party of less regulation, we’re the party of economic growth, we’re the party of peace, prosperity, security, and justice.”
