Paige DeSorbo addressed the swirling speculation surrounding her recent breakup with Craig Conover. The “Summer House” star took to social media to refute claims that she ended things with Conover after discovering his plans to propose.
“I’m obsessed with all of this fan fiction,” DeSorbo commented on a TikTok video from a Bravo gossip account that alleged she “knew” Conover “was about to propose” and “caught him off guard,” leading her to “call it quits” and “ruin the proposal.”

In another video, the same TikTok creator claimed DeSorbo “cheated” on Conover with an unnamed “internet personality.” DeSorbo’s response? “See you in court,” seemingly denying the allegations.
Ever since DeSorbo, 32, confirmed her split from Conover, 36, earlier this week, fans have been speculating about the reasons behind their breakup.
DeSorbo had previously stated that their “very sad” breakup was amicable, acknowledging that they had both changed and saw their lives heading in different directions. “I love him. I think he loves me. I think we will remain friends,” she said on her “Giggly Squad” podcast.
“No one did anything. It wasn’t a bad thing,” DeSorbo elaborated. “I think we both were just being really mature and saying what we want and what we didn’t want, and I think that’s extremely powerful to be able to voice how you’re feeling in real time and what you want for your future.”

Despite the split, DeSorbo expressed her admiration for Conover, calling him “one of the best people” she’s met and “the best boyfriend I’ve ever had.” “He was a great boyfriend, and he did everything correct, and he never made me feel insecure or anything like that, so it almost is harder when no one’s done anything to be mad about, and that’s hard.”
Nonetheless, DeSorbo maintained that ending their three-year relationship was “the right decision for both” of them.
Conover has remained silent on the breakup and largely off social media in recent days. However, fans spotted him spending New Year’s Eve with close friends Dustin Johnson and Paulina Gretzky, as seen in an Instagram Story shared by Gretzky.
