Former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy predicted that Joe Biden will ultimately not be the Democratic Party’s 2024 candidate for president. Ramaswamy made the comments following the release of special counsel Robert Hur’s report and Biden’s widely-panned press conference Thursday.
Ramaswamy said that Biden would not be at the top of the ticket in November. He said during a Fox News interview that the special counsel’s report makes it more obvious that Biden is not fit to run for another term.
He further said that the “managerial class” in the Democratic Party “lost their use” for the president. He also said that some in the Democratic Party are “laying the groundwork” to remove Biden over the next three months.
Ramaswamy also called upon leaders in the Democratic Party to talk publicly about who could ultimately be their nominee. He then said that Vice President Kamala Harris would likely not be the nominee. Ramaswamy said that the Democratic Party’s use of identity politics caused a significant problem for the party.
Instead, the former candidate predicted that former First Lady Michelle Obama could be the nominee instead of Biden. He also called the president a “puppet” and that continuing to prop him up would be a former of “elder abuse.”
Biden will not be the Democratic nominee. Get ready for Michelle Obama.

Hur’s report sought to determine why Biden retained a number of classified documents, including some stored in his garage. The special counsel reported that Biden “willfully” held the documents, but would not be recommending charges.
In part, Hur wrote that he would not seek charges due to Biden’s mental state. The special counsel wrote that the president had trouble remembering key events in his life, including when he was vice president and when his son Beau Biden died.
The special counsel also wrote that at a potential trial, “Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”
Following the issuance of the report, former President Donald Trump said that if Biden is not competent to stand trial, then he should step down as president.
