Pelosi Claims That The ‘High Cost Of Living’ Is Due To An Increase In Jobs And A Decrease In Product

Democrats know they have a short time frame to pass as many bills and spend as much money as possible because they’ll get nothing when the 2022 midterm election comes around. They want a resume builder because they can’t rely on their actions to push them forward. They’ve all been disastrous.

Instead of giving out free crack pipes for $30 million, that money could be saved for something else and not spent at all. Maybe paying off some of the debt the United States has accrued would have been a much brighter tactic. It is a social justice attempt to get votes from addicts across the country. President Joe Biden’s Administration only cares about one addict, Hunter Biden.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi joined George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s “This Week” and complained about other Democrats who aren’t abiding by their leader’s demand.

Stephanopoulos played a video of Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) saying, “This is not the time to add more fuel to the fire. We have an inflated economy, inflation, and an economy that is basically on fire. You don’t add more fuel to an already raging fire generating our issues. So we need to get the house in order.”

Democrats are certainly getting their house in order, but their house means their vote. Pandering comes before the fall.

In response, Pelosi said, “It’s not right, with all due respect to my friend, Joe Manchin. It’s not correct to suggest that what we’re doing contributes to inflation since it does the reverse.”

Really? It seems like Pelosi’s view isn’t where it needs to be.

Pelosi admitted that a low unemployment rate was a bad thing and contradicted herself simultaneously.

She responded to Stephanopoulos, saying wages aren’t catching up with prices.

Pelosi said, “When we passed the COMPETES Act the last time, what contributed to inflation? More people were employed, there was a scarcity of products, which caused prices to rise, and so on. So, when the COMPETES Act was passed last Friday, it was a huge step forward. Now we must have a conference with the Senate, which we will do shortly.”

How are jobs up and products scarce? If there aren’t products to be sold, wouldn’t that mean fewer employees were needed? Unless Pelosi suggests a disaster coming for the United States that will destroy the economy even more. In the meantime, Biden is urging Congress to pass the “Creating Helpful Incentives to Produce Semiconductors for America Act.” The CHIPS Act would give billions to companies to produce semiconductors.

Whether it’s the COMPETES Act, the CHIPS Act, or giving $30 million to drug addicts, the Democrats are spending a lot of money that the United States can’t afford to spend.
