There’s a hypocritical nature with the Ukraine and Russia conflict that could turn into a war. Democrats who oppose legislation against the surge of illegal immigration and the border wall are very open to sending United States troops to Ukraine to protect their border from invasion. It’s irresponsible.
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said, “We take an oath to protect and defend. And we’re working with the White House to show that we are ready for whatever the prospects are.”
At no point did any US politician swear an oath to Ukraine. That’s a ridiculous statement the drunk Congresswoman has made. Also, it’s one of the more coherent statements she’s made, which makes it equally frightening. The other coherent statements were about Congress participating in the stock market.
One user tweeted, “To protect and defend America. America. Thoughts on America’s southern border? @SpeakerPelosi.”
Exactly the thought most Americans should have at this point.
There’s a winner in the Twitter world, though.
The tweet goes, “A year and a half ago, they impeached Trump for having a call with the President of Ukraine. Today, following Biden’s disastrous call with Ukraine, and his son’s corrupt relationship there, Pelosi sees nothing wrong.”
Would that fix this? If Hunter Biden went to Russia and worked for them for a while? Would Vladimir Putin back off of the Ukraine border? Maybe, just maybe, out of all legislation and foreign policy, a crackhead can bring world peace anytime someone starts to act up. Talk about hilarity.
Pelosi said, in total, “And, we wanted to do all of this in the most bipartisan way possible at the same time, we take an oath to protect and defend. And, we’re working with the White House to show that we are ready for whatever the prospects are, as regarding Ukraine.”
If “do all of this in the most bipartisan way possible” means buy up Raytheon before their stock price rises because of defense contracts, then yes, Pelosi wants a bipartisan way to do things. Otherwise, she’s blowing smoke, and she’s about to start a fire.
