First Lady Jill Biden shot back at reporters for “screaming” at her on Monday when she was walking from a coffee shop back to her car, after one attempted to ask her about her husband’s plans for the 2024 presidential election.
A reporter asked Jill Biden whether President Biden should end his campaign given the growing calls from Democrats.
“Dr. Biden, do you have any message to House Democrats who are calling for your husband to drop out of the race? How are you feeling about the state of the race?” a female reporter could be heard shouting.
“Why are you screaming at me? You know me. Don’t scream at me, just let me talk,” Jill Biden responded.
However, she wouldn’t answer any questions as she got into her vehicle.
On Monday, Jill Biden campaigned for her husband in North Carolina, Florida, and Georgia.
These events in New York and Pennsylvania over the past 48 hours are part of efforts by Biden allies to placate growing fears from media elites tracking his first debate against former President Donald Trump.
Despite the debate mishap, Biden and his supporters have said multiple times that he is running for a second term.
“As commander in chief, President Biden wakes up every morning ready to work for you. That’s what this election is all about. You. For all the talk out there about this race, Joe has made it clear that he’s all in,” Jill Biden said during her North Carolina event.
Jill Biden, too, has been in the press more after reports of her being “the coach” with regard to whether POTUS should run.
