J.K. Rowling Was “Canceled” For Being Unwoke, But Not Anymore

J.K. Rowling has near immunity in the entertainment world especially with the new merger between WarnerMedia and Discovery. The new CEO, David Zaslav, wants to take the company in a new direction and get CNN away from their far left ideology.

After comments made by Rowling on Twitter: “War is Peace. Freedom is Slavery. Ignorance is Strength. The Penised Individual Who Raped You Is a Woman,” she was pushed out of entertainment entirely as a large portion of the left came after her.

Now, not only does Zaslav want to make up for Rowling basically being uninvited from the 20-year Harry Potter reunion, but he wants her to write and produce a Game of Thrones style Harry Potter series that will stream on HBO.

The popular children’s game Quidditch also moved from the Harry Potter brand. U.S. Quidditch and Major League Quidditch said, “Our sport has developed a reputation as one of the most progressive sports in the world on gender equality and inclusivity.”

Oddly, the Boswells School in Chelmsford, Essex changed one of the names of their houses from the “Rowling” house because of students and teachers’ requests.

Allowing Rowling to be more involved is sure to upset the LGBTQ community, but it’s a move that’s necessary to correct a “woke” path that corporations have begun to trend toward. Netflix recently told their employees that if they don’t like the direction that the business is going, then they can find new jobs. Spotify had to face the same decision with Joe Rogan’s podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience.”

The left has been extremely nearsighted and have rejected the idea of worldwide viewership. The United States “woke” crowd makes up such a small portion of society, but they tend to be the loudest. This makes corporations feel like they don’t have a choice but to cave to public pressure even though the pressure is coming from a small group of people.
