Israeli forces conducted a sensitive operation in northern Lebanon on Saturday, apprehending an individual believed to be a high-ranking Hezbollah naval operative, and transporting him to Israel for further questioning.
According to reports from The Times of Israel, Israeli naval personnel carried out an unusual action deep within Lebanese territory on Friday night, detaining a Hezbollah operative. Lebanese media outlets revealed that Israeli forces arrived by sea and entered a coastal residence in Batroun, south of Tripoli, detaining one individual before swiftly departing the area on watercraft.
The story of the Hezbollah ship captain is getting even weirder.

While Hezbollah’s navy has played a relatively minor role in the ongoing situation with Israel, where the group’s air capabilities and operatives have been more active, other organizations have effectively utilized naval forces in recent times. On October 7, a group employed naval operatives to infiltrate Israel’s southern beach area, resulting in numerous casualties before the individuals were neutralized. Israel subsequently disabled port facilities in the region, which had been used to launch the action.
