The House Oversight Committee has obtained banking records related to the Biden family, which reveal that John Robinson “Rob” Walker, a business associate of Hunter Biden’s, made payouts totaling over $1 million to Hunter, Jim and Hallie Biden, as well as an unnamed Biden, between 2015 and 2017. Walker’s wife had also served as Jill Biden’s assistant.
The payouts came after Walker received $3 million from State Energy HK Limited, a firm affiliated with Chinese Communist Party-backed energy company CEFC China Energy. The Wall Street Journal reports that the transactions have raised concerns about the Biden family’s financial ties with China. The White House has not yet responded to requests for comment on the matter.
March 1, 2017 a Chinese company wired $3 million to a Biden family associate, Rob Walker.
The next day $1,065,000 was transferred to another associate, James Gilliar.
Then, multiple members of the Biden family received payments adding up to that amount.

Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) has expressed concern over the series of payouts made by Walker and has vowed to investigate further.
According to a recent report from Fox News, Walker made 16 visits to the White House while Joe Biden was serving as Vice President.
“According to visitor logs reviewed by Fox News Digital, John R. Walker, a former Clinton administration official and husband of Betsy Massey Walker, who was a top aide to then-second lady Jill Biden, was listed visiting the White House twice in 2009, five times in 2011, four times in 2012, twice in 2013 and once in 2014, 2015 and 2016.” the report stated.
Fox reported reaching out to the White House “multiple times seeking confirmation with over a dozen dates that show a John R. Walker visiting the White House during the Obama-Biden administration, but they did not respond.”
During his visits to the White House, Walker held meetings with several officials from the Obama-Biden administration, according to Fox News.
The report also reveals email exchanges between Hunter Biden, Lane, Walker and others discussing references and potential clients. Additionally, the report provides more information about Walker’s visits to the White House, detailing that he met with several Obama-Biden administration officials during those visits.
There are many unanswered questions surrounding the business dealings of the Biden family, but new information suggests a close relationship between the Bidens and individuals such as Walker, with foreign funds allegedly being directed towards Biden family members for unknown purposes. This is despite President Joe Biden’s claims that he was unaware of any of Hunter’s business dealings.
