Drag Queen Who Performed for Kids Facing Dozens of Child Pornography Charges

A Pennsylvania drag queen who performed for children and counseled kids at an LBGTQ youth “safe haven” has been charged with 25 counts of child pornography.

Brice Williams, 26, of Chambersburg has been charged and arrested in connection to at least 49 photos and 25 videos he possessed showing naked prepubescent boys. The Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office said that Williams downloaded the material between May and December 2020.

Authorities would only say the victims of the crimes were under the age of 18 in order to protect their identities. The material Williams downloaded allegedly included extremely graphic depictions of adults engaged in sexual acts with the victims.

According to the criminal complaint filed in the matter, Williams downloaded the material to accounts linked to his email and home addresses. The illegal pornography was sent to accounts linked to the name “Ana D.” Williams reportedly performs under the stage name “Anastasia Diamond.”

The “haven” is operated by GLO Harrisburg to provide kids a “safe space” intended to help “LBGTQ youth of color do HIV/AIDS prevention and awareness work.”

Williams was employed by the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, which operates GLO Harrisburg. The university announced Tuesday that it has terminated Williams’ employment as a result of the charges.

The university issued a statement that said it is fully cooperating with authorities regarding the criminal investigation and that it has “no reason to believe that this individual was at any point alone on the GLO premises with a participant without other staff members present.”

Last July, Williams provided an interview to Penn Live to discuss the Harrisburg “safe haven” allegedly set up for LBGTQ youngsters.

The defendant told the media outlet that he felt the work of the “safe haven” is important because he knows “there are little kids like me who are queer who are Black who are still not able to look up to anyone.”

Williams added that he went into working at the haven because he “wanted to make a big impact for folks in my community.”

The LGBT Center of Central Pennsylvania gave Williams a “2020 Rising Star Award.”

When Williams was arrested last week he told investigators that the two email accounts associated with the illegal pornography were his and also confirmed that his phone number was listed as the recovery number on the accounts involved in the crimes.

He is currently being held in the Franklin County Correctional Center. His bail has been set at $100,000. His preliminary hearing has been set for July 5.
