Democrats Are Scrambling For Cover After DeSantis’ Announcement

Democrats are starting to give up fighting against the most popular Republican candidates because their policies are working. America is shifting ever so slightly to freedom because they can see what Democrats are doing to the country.

The Democrat governors Association will help fund Democrats who try to go against Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL). They’re saying that they can’t win and are taking the defeat.

It’s an interesting move that could be a good sign and a bad sign simultaneously.

If Democrats stop giving money in Florida, they will spend more money in more closely tied places between the two candidates in 2022. Then again, that doesn’t mean Democrat policies are more popular. In a state like North Carolina, the 2020 election results showed that Donald Trump won the Presidency, Roy Cooper (D-NC) won the governor spot, and Mark Robinson (R-NC) won the Lt. Governor spot. It’s split down the middle with the state, and people seem to pay attention to political policy rather than vote down a party line.

DeSantis is constantly being asked if he’s running for president in 2024, which means Democrats see him as a threat. DeSantis told Sean Hannity that no matter how many times he’s asked, he gives the same answer and will continue to. The answer is that Florida has many things going on and because he is running for re-election, there’s not much time to think about the presidency, nor should he. DeSantis also said that school board elections need attention, meaning that he will look at the local elections and give them the attention they deserve.

It’s interesting that Florida, a former swing state, turned so quickly into a Republican state. It turns out that it’s prevalent when politicians do what they say they’re going to do and give Americans the ability to choose how they live their lives. Who would have known?

DeSantis has been against lockdowns even before it was the cool thing to do. He gave his state a choice to wear a mask or not while still encouraging Floridians to get the Covid-19 vaccine. That’s what Americans should be about in every state. Choice. But some politicians don’t understand that people don’t want to be controlled all of the time. They don’t want the government to act as their parent and put them in time out when they feel fit.

Politico reports that “the DGA, which spend more than $15 million in Florida over the past two gubernatorial election cycles, is starting to deprioritize the state and is expected to have a much smaller footprint during the midterms, said two Florida Democratic consultants who have been in contact with the DGA.”

Good. They can leave Texas alone as well. It hasn’t been seen before and maybe a sign that there’s too much division in certain states to spend the money or that the Democrat party is going broke. Donors can see how much of a mess the country is in because of Biden’s policies and executive orders and may still support the Democrat Party without giving them any money.
