De Blasio’s NYC Has The Police Responding To COVID-19 At Home Test Giveaways

President Joe Biden has caused a crisis in COVID-19 test kits, and everyone is losing their mind. Interestingly, people want to take a COVID-19 test when they aren’t sick and aren’t required to, but to each their own.

In New York City, there was a free COVID-19 at-home test kit giveaway, and the police had to be called. As much as it might be the Democrat party’s fault, people need to realize that they don’t need an at-home test to see if they have COVID-19. If you aren’t sick, don’t worry. If you are, stay home. It’s effortless and much like any other virus that exists.

It turns out, if you aren’t sick, others around you don’t get sick either. I know, it’s ridiculous. Who would have seen it coming?

With rising cases of Omicron with milder symptoms, people have to go to the hospital less and are better suited to care for themself at home. NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio has opened 120 city testing sites. With the at-home test rising in popularity among the holidays, tempers flared because the city took a long time at the at-home COVID test giveaways.

This crisis is artificial. Not only COVID-19, but the panic that has ensued is the fault of the Democrat party. Is COVID-19 killing people? Yes. Roughly 1.5% of everyone who gets COVID-19. Stop testing yourself if you’re young, healthy, and aren’t sick. You have a very low possibility of dying from COVID-19. If someone gets terrible symptoms, then there are plenty of therapeutics outside of the COVID-19 vaccine that’s available.

De Blasio tweeted, “We’ve opened new city-run testing sites in all five boroughs and have been handing out at-home #COVID19 tests.”

Interestingly, Democrats are trying to get everyone tested even if they aren’t sick. It doesn’t seem to make sense, but what have they done that does make sense?

De Blasio ended the tweet with, “If you have symptoms or have been exposed, visit http://nyc.gov/COVIDtest right away.”

Exposure and sickness have a gap. That gap is different for everyone, but if someone is exposed, they won’t test positive “right away” if they get tested and have COVID-19. It might take a little while to get a positive result. Norton Healthcare reported, “It can take almost a week after exposure to COVID-19 to have a positive test result.”

Don’t listen to De Blasio. Listen to health care providers or trusted sources.
