Giving children the Covid-19 vaccine doesn’t follow any science that’s recorded. According to the New York Post, more kids got shot in Chicago so far in 2021 than died of Covid-19 nationwide. That means that the likelihood and danger of the virus shouldn’t raise any consideration for mandating the vaccine for children. It just doesn’t make sense given the side effects that are known and unknown.
Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) is pushing a bill to ban any Covid-19 vaccine mandate for children. The bill says:
“Neither the Federal Government, nor any agency, grantee, payee, or recipient, including any State, Local, Tribal, or Territorial Governmental Entity (including any local educational agency, as defined in section 8101 of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (20 USC 7801)), that receives any federal funds from the Department of Education or the Department of Health and Human Services may require or otherwise mandate that any individual age 18 or younger receive a COVID-19 vaccine.”
That’s how parents and school boards should conduct themselves. The effect that Covid-19 has on children is verifiably less significant than it is in adults, especially those older than 65.
At this point, we’re playing a game of speculation, and it’s going to start negatively impacting people’s lives, even worse than the Covid-19 virus.
In 2020 and 2021, there were 575 deaths under the age of 17 from the Covid-19 virus. While any death is a tragedy, forcing children to get a vaccine that doesn’t have long-term studies is just as dangerous, if not more dangerous, than the virus itself. Imagine 575 children having long-term side effects, or die, from the vaccine. That should be an extensive consideration when determining the action that should be taken. In all reality, no action should be taken other than making the vaccine available, even for adults.
The bill also says that no child can receive the Covid-19 vaccine unless “a parent, guardian, conservator, or attorney-in-fact of the minor provides prior, written, informed consent.”
A panel of federal judges for the New Orleans-based Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals blocked Biden’s vaccine mandate in light of mandates.
Another win for medical freedom that will likely follow suit across the country. The Covid-19 vaccines are still under emergency use authorization, making them optional.
People are understandably apprehensive about the Covid-19 shots, especially after Dr. Eric Rubin stated at an FDA conference that “we’re never going to learn how safe this vaccine is unless we start providing it.” That’s just the way it goes.
True, it does go that way with vaccines. There’s a definitive investigatory relationship between human trials and efficacy, but we’re talking about children, not adults, who can make the educated decision for themselves. Children are not to be experimented on.
The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine researched over the summer and “analyzed approximately 48,000 children under the age of 18 diagnosed with Covid in health-insurance data from April to August 2020,” resulting in a “mortality rate of zero among children without a pre-existing medical condition such as leukemia.”
Case settled. No more research is necessary. It isn’t about health, it’s about control, and it’s becoming a problem.
