In yet another one of his wacky awakened Twitter rants, CNN writer and MSNBC guest Dean Obeidallah stated he viewed Trump voters as being ”no different” than followers of the mastermind behind 9/11, Osama Bin Laden.
Obeidallah’s direct tweet stated, “At this point I LITERALLY view people who still support Donald Trump no different than the despicable, vile people who supported Bin Laden after 9/11.” He went on to say “the Taliban should be suing the GOP for trademark infringement.”
I want to share a TINY sample of VILE emails I received from Trump supporters after Fox News wrote an article slamming how I view people who still support Trump exactly as people who support Bin Laden after 9/11. I share so we understand MAGA is a dangerous, violent movement pic.twitter.com/oCZ5gSvdX9

The CNN writer continued his outburst by asserting that the demonstrations on Capitol Hill on January 6 were a “terrorist attack” incited by President Trump. The CNN contributor’s remarks didn’t end there, he continued his rant by calling the Republican Party a white nationalist and fascist organization.
Daily Reminder: Today's GOP is no longer a political party, it's a white nationalist, FASCIST movement that seeks to impose their EXTREME religious beliefs as the law of our land. It must be utterly defeated in order to save our Republic.

Obeidallah’s comparison of Trump supporters to Osama Bin Laden’s sympathizers is extremely ignorant. Way back in 2000, President Trump warned of Bin Laden in his book ‘The America We Deserve’. So, to call Trump Supporters Bin Laden’s supporters is a complete fallacy.
Although Obeidallah’s comments were out of touch, the rhetoric is nothing new for Trump supporters. The constant demonization of Trump supporters on corporate media has caused many to be put in harm’s way.
During the height of verbal attacks against Trump supporters, a 77-year-old war veteran who was wearing a MAGA hat was beaten severely. The assault took place during the daytime hours at the post office located in Red Bluff — the victim did not want to have their identity revealed. According to what he said to KRCR-TV, the assault took him totally by surprise. He was showing his support for Trump by wearing a MAGA hat.
Every time the media spews hatred toward Trump supporters by calling them racist, fascist, white nationalist and other slanderous terms, the viewers of those networks soak all that hatred in and the end result is political persecution.
