Boebert Brutalizes ‘Little’ Eric Swalwell For China Ties

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) held nothing back on Fox News’ “Unfiltered with Dan Bongino” when the subject of Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) came up. The Democrat is widely speculated to have “sold out to China,” and the firebrand Republican took him to task for refusing a key vote.

The subject centered on new House Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s (R-CA) declaration that he will not allow Swalwell and Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) to sit on the prestigious House Intelligence Committee.

McCarthy also said he will remove Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) from the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

Even though Democratic critics charge that his moves are merely a blowback from their dismissals of Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Paul Gosar (R-AZ) from their committee assignments, that is hardly the case.

As Boebert noted, “being compromised by a Chinese spy is reason to be removed from the Intel Committee.” She declared that Swalwell “sold out to China” and used a vote on selling strategic oil reserves to the communist regime as proof.

While most Democrats agreed with her, she alleged that “little Eric took a walk and refused to take the vote.”

The vote on the Protecting America’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve from China Act passed without Swalwell’s support. The final tally was 331-97 with every Republican but four in favor and all “no” votes coming from Democrats.

Swalwell was one of six representatives recorded as “not voting.”

Boebert concluded that “he’s compromised,” and this fact means he should not be allowed “nowhere near top-secret, classified information.”

The Colorado Republican’s criticism centered around a Chinese national named Fang Fang or Christine Fang. She was key to a political intelligence operation carried out between 2011 and 2015 by the communist regime.

Axios reported that Fang implemented “campaign fundraising, extensive networking, personal charisma and romantic relationships” to get close to political power. She allegedly took part in Swalwell’s fundraising for his 2014 reelection campaign and helped place at least one intern in his office.

Sources confirmed she interacted with Swalwell on multiple occasions.

McCarthy also called out Swalwell several times, saying that “if you got the briefing I got from the FBI, you wouldn’t have Swalwell on any committee.” He also noted that the California Democrat “cannot get a security clearance in the private sector.”
