If President Joe Biden wanted to control gas prices, he shouldn’t depend on foreign entities to pump oil to the United States.
So far, Biden has shut down multiple pipelines in the U.S. and is begging for lower prices. Former President Donald Trump was able to keep costs low because he pushed extremely hard to make sure the U.S. was oil independent so that we don’t have to depend on foreigners to get fuel. It was working out great until November 3rd, 2020.
When Biden was on CNN’s Town Hall, he said, “Gas prices relate to a foreign policy initiative that is about something that goes beyond the cost of gas. And we’re about $3.30 a gallon most places now when it’s up from when it – was down in the single digits. I mean, single di- – a dollar plus. And – and that’s because of the supply being withheld by OPEC.”
Does Biden think Americans are stupid? He certainly couldn’t even get through that sentence without stumbling all over himself, but other than that, we can produce gas ourselves.
Biden said, “I could go in the petroleum reserve and take out and probably reduce – reduce the price of gas maybe 18 cents or so a gallon. It’s still going to be above three bucks.”
“Biden is quite concerned about, you know, inflation, obviously, and the price of gasoline because that’s the most visible manifestation of it. As you may be aware, no president has authority over the price of gasoline. Oil is traded on a global scale,” Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm told CNN.
Yes, but when exports aren’t meeting imports, there’s a problem. The U.S. has less control of that global market and therefore is at the detriment of other governments. It shouldn’t be a complex concept to grasp, yet it seems Democrats are lost in their world’s economic structure.
“It is, as we see, as everyone is coming out of COVID, there is a massive surge in demand, and supply has not caught up. As a result, the president is considering his limited options. I have nothing to say about it except that I am aware. He is thinking and weighing all of his choices, however, determined they may be in the United States,” Granholm remarked.
The worst part of the whole thing is that Biden’s selected nominee, Saule Omarova, to head the Treasury Department said, “at least, we want them to go bankrupt if we want to tackle climate change, right?”
Biden plans to ruin the U.S. economy ultimately, and the oil and gas industry is in his sights. Buckle up for more interference in the oil industry as the world watches Biden’s next moves in the energy sector. And don’t forget Hunter Biden’s Chinese energy investments.
