When the President of the United States makes a significant decision like teaming up with other world leaders, there is plenty of oversight, especially when the relationship is militarily related. Biden’s administration showed their incompetence and inability to determine their allies when they teamed up with Australia and the United Kingdom.
When the deal was initially executed, the French were notably, and rightfully, upset. They wanted to partner in the submarine deal for $66 billion that placed France over Germany and Japan. Australia saw the rise in military, particularly naval, capabilities that China was developing and needed to rush the project.
Australia joined the trilateral partnership, AUKUS, which didn’t sit well with France, understandably so. Now, Biden is apologizing to Emmanuel Macron for leaving them out of the deal. It seems that Biden’s administration is just clueless when it comes to foreign relations. The sad part is that Biden was part because, according to Obama White House archives, Biden was “Chairman or Ranking Member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee since 1997. Then-Senator Biden played a pivotal role in shaping U.S. foreign policy.”
It isn’t a joke, and he did that.
After the withdrawal from Afghanistan and now this, it’s safe to say that he should have never served in that position. He can’t manage this country, much less do anything in another country.
Yeah, Biden, it was as subtle as a shotgun. France has every reason to be upset.
That’s not how we’re supposed to act as Americans. You call and check. It wouldn’t have taken long. It adds to the worldwide drama that’s already been going on and adds more confusion than anything.
“Parliament holds the president in contempt” was a headline just after the withdrawal from Afghanistan, so the fact that Boris Johnson, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, would want to team up with the U.S. and Australia is a bit confusing.
It’s like when Myspace was popular. Your top friends showed up on your profile page for everyone to see. Biden is moving him around, and nobody is sure why, but they’re getting upset about it, and he has to go back and apologize. We’re all watching and wondering when someone would grow up and act like an adult now that high school emotions have infiltrated the political arena.
