Political action has good and bad consequences, but politicians rarely think about it when they decide. In the case of President Joe Biden, he’s trying to make a name for himself by passing several bills that are going to harm the economy and every American.
Inflation isn’t a myth. You can go to the grocery store or the gas station and see it when you pay for items that cost $5 and now cost $6 or gas that used to cost $1.80 and now costs $3.80. There’s nothing wrong with leaving the economy alone and allowing a recovery before pushing trillions of dollars in spending and taxing the rich.
Democrats try to normalize price influxes, but, love him or hate him, former President Donald Trump had prices lower than in years. Biden has made several moves that have been bad for the economy. First, he ended the Keystone XL Pipeline and the Willow Project and pushed the United States further from oil independence than we have been in a long time, second, he moved his massive spending bills, suggested that the IRS go into Americans bank accounts, and said that he was going to tax every citizen making $400,000 or more per year. Notice how the last sentence says “citizen?” Yeah, that’s there for a reason.
The southern border is causing a lot of issues for every state. The Biden administration wants to give illegal aliens separated from their families $450,000 each as citizens are struggling to keep up with the inflated economy. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was confronted by Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) about Biden’s cages at the border. Mayorkas said that 1.7 million undocumented immigrants attempted to come into the U.S. in 2021 and that it’s expected to reach 2 million before 2022.
All of this is a massive concern for inflation and government spending. Failed immigration policies will create a large influx of welfare recipients and states, and the federal government will have to keep up with the flow of money going toward these programs. But Biden’s administration doesn’t care. What they’re trying to do is give citizenship to the new illegal aliens.
When the government decides to make moves like this, and it hurts the people, there are always consequences that reach far beyond the scope of one administration. It’s anticipated that Biden’s administration wants to shove through Democrat voters in front of the 2022 midterm elections and hope that they can tame the Republican wave that’s about to ensue. Otherwise, the mass wave of illegal aliens and proposals to spend hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars on immigration attorney representation wouldn’t be happening. It’s an unfortunate consequence of a failed administration that voters decided they wanted if we’re assuming the election was legit.
