While campaigning for Terry McAuliffe, former President Barack Obama said, “We don’t have time to be wasted on these phony trumped-up culture wars, this fake outrage, the right-wing media’s pedals to juice. Their ratings.”
Hold on, Obama. “Fake outrage” has been a thing of the left for years. The entire LGBTQ+ community has been engaged in a fake outrage of misgendering and not using the correct pronouns. Is that called “real-outrage?” What about the “Me Too” movement that led to men being thrown out of society because women blame them for something they may not have done. The left has ditched innocent until proven guilty and found every conservative, republican, right-wing, or however you want to label them as guilty because of their perception that all of them are racist, homophobic, and insurrectionists.
It’s also interesting that politicians and Democrats keep saying, “We don’t have time” or “Time is running out.” It’s because the Democrats are trying to jam these massive spending bills through and mandate vaccines and IRS intrusion. They understand that it is less likely to happen if they wait until after the 2022 midterm elections or have a Republican governor in Virginia.
Obama has no business talking about culture wars. He said, “You look at those protests, and that was a far more representative cross-section of America out on the streets, peacefully protesting.”
Obama? Peacefully, right? Some cities were burned down, and innocent people were assaulted and killed during the George Floyd riots in 2020. So, don’t ever talk to us about “culture wars,” Obama.
His comments also come after Attorney General Merrick Garland suggests that the FBI investigate parents at school board meetings. That’s the definition of a culture war because it targets parents who disagree with the curriculum in their kids’ schools.
Speaking of schools, was it fake outrage when the Loudoun County girl was physically assaulted in the restroom by a transgender student. The father got arrested because his actions threatened the school board members, and he was being disrupted. It’s no wonder he was disruptive because the school wasn’t correctly investigating the incident.
The right-wing media isn’t peddling juiced-up nonsense, either. Regardless of the news network Obama is talking about. The fact remains that the “fact-checkers” that follow right-wing trends and claims have been wrong about many things. They were wrong about the lab leak theory, Dr. Anthony Fauci funding gain-of-function research, the Covid-19 vaccine having side effects at a rate that hasn’t been seen before, and many other things that are “juiced” to give them ratings. Obama is missing because most of the information coming from right-wing sources is correct no matter how many fact checks are placed on it.
